I have used the same type/ brand of shoes for 20+ years.
Flat bottom, mid height, red wings. They were made for people
that stand on concrete all day. I can walk across a floor covered with
liquid of any type and never slip. That's the reason I use them, but
they are not water proof and are not good for any other condition like
snow or ice. Last about 4 years then resole them once and the rest of
the shoe will be shot by then
