Default Haban 374 Deck refurb

My Haban 60 incher had a lot of hours and a lot of wear on it.. I got tired of hearing the front casters beat and bang so I came up with a solution.. The commonly used holes all had wear so I just welded those up and re drilled them.. Made new pins with threads so I could tighten them. Also welded contact plates on the upper and lower part of the caster carriage.. with some hand fitting I managed to get all the play out.. should be nice and quiet now..

I also added some new rear casters with bearings and made some new pins there also.

I have new bushings and casters for the front from Mc Master as per SamMac's recommendation and part numbers.. just haven't put them in yet.

While I was at it I tore her down and added a coat of paint.

Next I will do spindle rebuilds and a new belt..

Should be good for many more hours!!
