I agree 100%! I even see some lazy people around me that leave their lights uo all year! And when they fire them up theres bulbs out and half of them are busted and they dont bother fixing them!
I walk into the store with my 5 kids wearing my stained up holy work clothes, muttering bah humbug and the old bell ringer looks like he wants to take his bucket of change and run the other direction! 3 days after Christmas is over my younger kids start making their list for santa for the following year! I told my boys all they were getting for Christmas was a godevil (splitting mal) to help me with the firewood and they seem genuinly excited! But momma put the kabosh on that idea when her baby boy(10) was screwing around and split his eyelid open and had to get stitches!
I used to love Christmas when i was a kid, it meant I had 2 weeks off school so I could help the old man out in the shop everyday and do some rabbit hunting! Now it just means by the time I recoup from school shopping its time to do santas job!(fat old slacker anyhow)
