I'm with you George. "Some cattle were killed....". I do own a pair of tennis shoes. I set them by the back door. Only time I ever slip them on is if it's raining and I have to go out and in quick (take out trash) and that is only because the old cowboy boots have a hole in them. I bought them to play golf in. Haven't been on a course in about 5 or 6 years. I don't know how many pair of cowboy boots I have.... it's several. I'll have to look into the Hytest stuff.

Justin, Double H are made in the USA. I really like Justin work boots. I have a pair of Ariat's now..... but didn't realize they were made in China until after I bought them. I believe I'll go back to Justin. I liked the Double H ones I had, but it was the first pair of steel toed "cowboy" work boots I had ever worn. I couldn't handle being on them all day on concrete. It wasn't the fit, it was the taller heal. It killed my low back. When I was farming more, I could wear them no problem, but spent more time walking on non-paved surfaces. They had rubber work boot style soles instead of leather. If you haven't tried the two brands mentioned, give them a shot. They're really good boots.
