Olds,
This JD came as a package with a bunch of other stuff. It set around at a friends house for a year and he told me to come and get it this summer. I have about $60 into it and the little 8 hp Kohler just keeps chugging along. New head gasket, adjusted one valve, fixed exhaust. It is all original paint and everything works. Its a model 110, late 60's.
Hate to tell you but we also have a Massey Ferguson 8HP lawn tractor in the shop right now too. Yea we have fallen on real hard times when we have to work on those Indian engines! That one is into the pocket book pretty good and still runs like crap.
I do have a 12 Kohler on the bench for rebuild. needs the crank turned .010 under, hone the cylinder, new rod and gasket kit at least.
Good luck to all the hunters out there!
Here is a picture of our Great Grandson, Rhett holding onto my deer horns. Hopefully the nut don't fall from the trees. His grandfather Eric is holding him.
Rhett's dad Nic got a nice doe the first day of archery season in PA too.

Regards,
Chris
