Just my 2 cents but I have a 1641 with a 48" GT deck and the 16 has plenty of power. I'd guess that the 18 is over kill and anything over that is a waste of cash. Your wallet, your tractor do as you wish. I have nothing else to offer on this thread. Be Happy, Happy, Happy.
