Well here's the deal Bota get's over $1800.00 for a snow plow for a BX. I built this from an old Myer plow that was on a Ford F-150 for under $500.00. The loader is used for the lift and the bucket function circuit is used for the power angle. It takes about 5 minutes to mount it to the tractor, 1 pin, 2 quick connect hoses and the lift chain. Vision is not a problem at all, I can see the corners of the plow with no problem. This is the 3rd plow of this design that I have done. I sold the others. 1st one was to an owner of a BX in CT, second one went with the BX2200 that I had before the BX2660. If you have a tractor with a loader this is an easy way to go. This pic is pushing snow up into a pile when I lived in CT, we got 112" of snow that year, this was just an early storm. This setup allows you to raise the blade much higher that anything offered by the factory. Back to Cub Cadet stuff now. It's cocktail hour, gotta go.
