Inherited my Dad's 1650 Hydrostatic and I love it.
I just restored my Dad's 1650 Hydrostatic. For three years it's been great mainly as a lawn mower and hauling around my yard sweeper for leaves (my 1 acre has 16 100 year old oak trees). Needless to say, it has been a life saver. I remember my Dad using the snowthrower and rototiller attachments and at some point in the early 80's something stopped working with it and it sat in our shed until my mom and her new husband moved it and attempted to get it running. Unfortunately they also thought it would look better if it was painted red and gray, yuck. I moved into my new house in Toledo, Oh in 2012 and took the tractor to a place in Medina (south of Cleveland) called Bob's Mowers and they put it back together. It sat so long unused it is in incredible shape. All the attachments are great too. They barely looked used. However this summer the lawnmower stopped working, it went to barely turning the blades. I remember Bob saying if the PTO went out it could be trouble. So here I am asking for advice. I can't find someone local to me that knows these tractors. Open to anything. Thanks!
