They are great little tractors. Fun to use, easy to work on and they will amaze you when you stick a plow on them and that 10 hp will grunt and grown like a big tractor. Double rear weights would indicate to me it was used with a blade for snow removal. One of the things that hold a cub back is the rear tire traction. The spin out. that is a mid 50's hood, and one of the best looking cubs made with the 11 bar grill. The hitch on the back is called a fast hitch, and all were equipped with at PTO A full line of equipment. Started making them in 1947 for small farms to replace horse and mule teams. With mules you could plow an acre a day but with a cub you could plow 3 1/2 acres. They were suppose to last up to 7 years. Go figure.
