Good idea on the lamp wicks! I've read through this thread twice, and love seeing it highlighted anytime I check in here. I always hope new posts contain pics, whenever I click on "last page". Very nice work. I'm wondering if there isn't something the lamp wicks could be coated with. Something to give them a little bit of a no slip quality, and protection against environmental degradation. My first thought was paraffin wax. But... I figured that might get too warm, and run. Maybe I'm over thinking this. I definitely plan on using this idea, even if it is just plain lamp wick, on my new to me 104. Keep up the good work!
