Bad coil? Ummmm...dumb question - where would the coil be on an 18hp Briggs? I know this sounds stupid - wait a minute , it is a dumb question! Bear in mind this is only an engine that is about 7 or 8 years old - it isn't like 25 years old or anything. Is it likely to be hidden under the plastic crap sheilding on it? My lack of engine knowledge is showing through here BIG TIME! I see the solenoid, starter, oil filter, plug wire and spark plug.....so is it going to attached to other end of the spark plug burried under that engine casing?
