The local snowmobile club has a ice drags for vehicles every year on the river. It's a hoot, studded and non-studded classes. I actually took a 2nd (first looser) back 25 years ago with my 4x4 S-10. Only reason I think I did so good was because the truck barely had enough power to pull itself...
There's another group that runs on Shawano lake, but they run oval with a pack of cars, obviously not street cars, but those boys when studded up move pretty darn fast...
Don't know if either will happen this year, everything is still open water. I thought they start in January.
