There is nothing good about Facebook. You can keep in touch with your friends and family via phone, text, email, IM, Facetime etc. Once you join Facebook, you give up all privacy - you start "liking" things, now they know everything about you - religious beliefs, political affiliation, what you eat, what you listen to, where you've been and when , and so on. They track all your browsing too. Even if you never interact - like, post or upload, they still extract information about you from your circle of friends. You know the movie Matrix where people are the batteries? That's you on Facebook. I stay as far away from it as possible.
