Default Its time for my annual return...

Greetings fellow Cub nuts! As the years go by I'm not so much young as i am enthusiast anymore... I'm 21 now, I do believe I've been a part of this program for 7 years. Holy smokes!

I used to be big here, comment on everything, know most of everything, lots of pictures etc. But then life happened, school, got a job, and I didnt have enough time to play on here anymore. But I havent forgotten you all or the toys that sit in the shed

The past year I have been going to college, worked on the farm in the summer, and then back to college. My last semester starts on monday, whoot! I have been blessed to have a great part time job at the local elevator, and even one bay of a garage to put my tools and tinker on things while im not busy at class or work. Life has been good!

So here is the quick and dirty of my summer with the cubs. I still use them from time to time!

I had a friend ask me to come and do some dirtmoving on a job at the local dental office. So I loaded up the BOSS (982) the 782, a couple of attachments, the small loader tractor, and headed off. I spent a couple hours moving and leveling dirt, ripping up roots and having fun. then moved in 5 yards of gravel with the loader. The cubs never gave me any trouble and did an excellent job.

I also went to camp, played in the dirt there, but dont have any pictures.

And then the last thing I did for the summer was go to the tractor show. Set a personal best for taking 6 tractors this time. 100, 123, 128, 149, 782, and a 1250. I entered the slow races for the first time, and won! I played with the idle on the 128 and got it to go slower than the 'O that was there, and an electric tractor that usually dominates the slow races.

That is me in the grey shirt standing at the front of the truck

there were 3 other cubs there, an O, a 123 and a 147-47 articulating rig. The O was completly period correct, it had the right hitch and plow! I gave it a tuneup, flat screwdriver just happened to be in my pocket!

Here is my "show" rigs. The white truck and holiday trailer are mine, as is the international truck, dad owns the little trailer. I had 5 people in tow, we stayed at the show for 3 days this time, we had a blast!

I shall be posting more later! keep you eyes open for a 1450 resurrection thread...
