The fluid in these rearend tends to trap moisture which turns the fluid to jelly, I pulled the rear cover of them and found and inch of jelly inside and that's the stuff that plugs the filter. I'm not saying the filter is the issue but until its replaced then you have no way of knowing what exactly is going on, I'd hate to see you waste alot of time and money to fix a problem that's being cause by a $5 filter.
