i am not sure why you need to heat up a gas engine. i have a cub loboy 154 that has a S/G and it started here the other day at -15 and its a pile of crap. are people sure their tractors dont need tune ups or something? do they just not turn over or turning and just wont fire? the only time ive ever had a car or anything not start because of cold is because it was in a poor state of tune. any slight issue with carb and ignition parts will be greatly amplified in the cold. heck my 1st gen cummins will start at -5 without being plugged in.
