When I bought my 450 it didn't come with the bolts for the holes. I used it a while (can't remember how long) before I.... umm... used something else that works the same... and it was ok. Only issue I had was that it didn't lift as high as it does with the bolts in. They do make a difference. I will be totally honest, I didn't realize that the IH built machines didn't have the holes. I just never noticed. I had to go look at one of mine. That said, I understand completely you not wanting to modify your machine, but I really don't think that drilling holes in the frame for a blower will lessen the value of the machine any at all.
