I now have the same results as amflyer, but I went through and rebuilt mine because it could barely throw snow out of its own way and was always clogging. A PO had used it on a stone driveway and deformed the paddles and corresponding housing. Once I built up the paddles, patched in new metal to close the gap (3/16" or so) and painted the housing and chute it throws great. The hardest part for me is keeping a belt on it, but I think that is more to do with the rubber mounted engine on my 1450 and cheap tsc belts.
