Ok... listen, when I ask a question, and you answer it... Such as when I asked if the pump was spinning the right way, don't say "YES" unless your sure that the answer is yes. If you don't know, say "I don't know", then ask how you can tell. Your making this more complicated by giving a "false" answer. We're on post #29 and haven't really established anything yet for sure other than it doesn't work.


Is the shaft on the pump rotating in the direction of the arrow on the pump when it is running? If yes, it's spinning the right way. If no, then you have the wrong pump. You cannot reverse it's direction since it has a relief valve built into it. I really doubt that it is spinning the wrong direction, even if it came off another GT that wasn't a Cub Cadet, all GT engines turn the same direction.

Your missing something, or the pump is junk. The most likely answer is: both.

Give your answers in shaft rotation as if you were sitting in the seat. As you sit in the seat, the engine turns clockwise.
