I bought two last year,,, my first ever in this size,,,
I thought 4WD would be a joke,, but,,, it is more of a necessity.
The front tires are the exact same size as the rears on a Cub Cadet GT.
Going forward, you never notice 4WD,,, but, back up,,, almost no matter what you are doing,,,
the front axle does most of the work,,,
I tried the 855 and loader in 2WD,,, 200 pounds in the bucket, and the machine stops,,, period.
If you add enough ballast on the back to make up for no 4WD,,, the machine is no longer nimble.
That much weight makes it into a slug,,,
