Sounds like you have serious issues with your hydro. Hopefully just wear in the linkages, trunion and springs. I have never heard of a Cadet doing a wheelie and breaking the front axle. The only axles I ever heard of breaking were from falling off a trailer or running into something very solid like a tree or curbing. I would go ahead and start a thread under IH Cadets concerning your hydro. Post pictures if you can, we love them! Besides it will help to diagnose problems. Give some details about how the hydro was behaving, was it changing speed on hills or was it doing it on flat ground. Was it weak under load, etc.
