Hello all,
So it basically started with a snowblower for me. Got tired of clearing my driveway with a dinky little box-store Ariens (they sure don't build those like they used to) and found a 268 snowblower on eBay right down the street from me. I wound up buying it *just* before we had that big storm in the NE; close to 40 years old and didn't miss a beat in the 18 inches I had on my driveway.
So, I started looking at the old Cubs; I'd wanted one for a while, but just never had the room and money to grab one. However, one fateful night on Craigslist, I saw a 108 with a mower deck in the next town for sale for $200. Drove over there the next day and gave it a once over......paid the guy on the spot. My favorite tractor I own now (out of the 10 total I have now, not including a couple of Model L Gravelys :biggrin2.gif
. In fact, I like it so much, that I'm getting rid of a couple of my other machines to make room for a couple more Cubs. So, yeah....
Love the site and I'm looking forward to learning a lot and helping out where/when I can.
Just for good measure, here a couple of pics when I brought it home and kicked my wife's car out of the garage. It's been cleaned up some since; still needs some paint though:
PS Yeah, I know...there's a JD seat on it, but that will be taken care of shortly.
