Default fixed!!

Well, I finally took the time to repair the trunnion on this 982. It was in bad shape as you can see in the pics. It is back to factory specs with new springs and pins. I shimmed up the cam plate and it centered nicely. I do have one question though. It operates great while speeding up but when you pull the lever back to slow down it has a good jerk (like hitting brakes) to it. It only does this when slowing down not while speeding up. It holds the speed perfect while cruising and pulling hills. It even stops smooth with the brake pedal. Could this be from the new springs being so tight?
