After a year of collecting parts and staring at my 782 problem, I have decided to face it, Head-On!

I am starting to tear down the tractor, and begin to get it ready for a professional to refinish the paint, install a Magnum 18, put on new front tires and rims, install a grill and fix the trunion. I'll do a fluid and filter this year, and, if necessary, replace the transmission valves or have them rebuilt this winter.

The tractor's serial number tag is on the machine, and the number is readable, but the top part hat says: "International Harvester, Chicago, Illinois" has been rubbed off. Does anyone know of a method to restore these tags, or where a replacement replica tag may be available?
