I'm here for a lesson. I have a 680 that is the same as the 1282 except for paint color. I agree that they do have a fuel pump. What I am more curios about is did all other K-series in Cubs just use gravity feed? Why did Cub/CCC make the change for the 1282/680? I have seen where people convert to the Briggs style vacuum pump which is less expensive than the Cub/Kohler one.
