I'd put a screen on the bottom of the frame. I never liked when they reversed the radiator on the 3 cylinder models to the dash tower side... for this very reason. When the radiator was in front, no such issues.
Otherwise, stay out of that tall grass and weeds. It's not a bush-hog. The screen is doing it's job.
