It might be.... but I would come nearer to think it's using "drip gas" or even a distallate fuel. I don't know if you could get it to run off of gasoline or not.....
Most all of the old motor like that I've worked on were Fairbanks Morse 118 and 208's. They all ran LP, or even well gas. I think they get kind of hot on gasoline, and hard to regulate. I could be wrong, I don't mess with them much anymore.
