Daniel, buddy, that's kind of dangerous. The bracket on the sediment bowl is metal... attached to a metal tank.. the GAS TANK. Not really somewhere I want high current electricity to be. You get a small hole in that plug wire at the strap and the hood could blow off... in a big ball of fire! I'd do some more rerouting if I were you!
Well.... it likely wouldn't EXPLODE... but there is a chance.
