I own a 2084 and it has over 1400 hrs on it and still going well. One of the biggest problems with these machines is loose, broken or missing bolts in the rear end. Loose or missing bolts are a very easy fix. Broken bolts are a bit more work. If you get either or both and plan on keeping them I highly recommend two things be done. 1 get a front bumper. That plastic nose piece is about $140 to replace. The other is a pair of rear braces that Sam Mac designed. Again not real cheap but gives the rear end much needed support. These supers are real work horses. The 2084 has a unique shut down feature you have to follow or the result is blown head gaskets. To shut down a command engine you must first advance the throttle to 1/2 speed or higher and shut it off. Not doing it that way results in the engine back firing and resulting in a blown head gasket.
