Are the angle iron brackets merely bolted to the gearbox base plate for storage purposes?
The outer bar ground shoes appear to have been altered on the backside in order to bolt them to the bar. Most factory ones are rounded so that when you back up you still have some "ski" action instead of plowing the lawn.
I still say it is a cobbled up homemade unit using various components from various machines.
To be used on a vertical crankshaft tractor.
And all of the steel from the bar to the gear box mount is shop made.
