They are my grandsons, I do not get to spend very much time with them. I usually just try to do things we will all enjoy. They were my poop pile spotters, but I did the scooping.
I find I treat my grandchildren somewhat different than I did my children. As far as chores / privileges go.
Limited time together, is the excuse I use. Not that at my age I need excuses.
