Don't know why I do these things to myself... Bring these rusty. crusty, left to rot tractors home. Must be three people, cause one can't be this stupid

So over the weekend brought those two tractors I bought over the winter home to evaluate their potential... Oh boy

The 106 was way past it's expiration date, so it became a parts tractor, just more wrong than right. Someone throughout it's life replaced the trans with a hydro unit, and no linkage or anything to make it functional.
But the 107 has a little more potential to be something, I hope. Wiring is a mess, fuel tank is a gunk filled mess, the carburetor is stuck solid. The paint has a real nice patina, many years in a pine plantation... the hydro linkage and go lever is stuck, no movement, as well as the choke and throttle cable... You get the picture.

But, it has a gear box on the back, three point and spring assist... Doesn't that make it worth fixing?

So I'm going to at least see if it'll run before committing to go much further. We'll see.
Thinking it'll make a better lawn ornament.
