timing yes, I timed it according to your technical write-up Jmech, thank you for that. with a voltmeter instead of timing light,worked good. I used the points that came in the kit from the manufacturer. Then I check timing with a timing light when its running. the -S is pretty much in the center of the circle.
But, I had some time today to adjust the throttle a bit and set it to 3750 rpm, but that sounds fast, especially if since it's never run that fast. Low idle is set at 1200 to 1400. Also, seems there is a bit of vibration that was never in the steering wheel before. maybe because the engine bolts were loose and now they are tight?
by not being able to set it, what I mean was not actually knowing how fast it is turning.
