oh, i agree with you 100%!!!!! i wasn't gonna buy his. i was gonna fab my own, but not to sell, just for my own personal use and i do service all my mowers, so them flying off is not a major concern. the only thing i would hit is a tree, i am well over 300 yards from the nearest dwelling, have no outside pets, and the wife and kid dang sure ain't gonna be around when daddy is doing work!!!! LOL. i have some "weeds" that a brand new blade and me sitting over the clump, won't cut, it just twists it. i don't know what kind it is, but when it is really tall, it has seed? on it that you can pick and throw, kinda like a minature arrow. when i get my lift lever fixed on the 108, i will be making a deck out of 7 gauge steel and two HEAVY duty spindles my dad got from who knows what and i will go from there. i will keep everyone posted on the progress. jeff
