That's what I'm probably going to buy for my 1200. What was suggested to me and what I will do is buy one, cut it to length of the original and drill the hole for the clutch rod. No reason it can't be done. I bought one from cub cadet and the new one is way to short. Then returned it. They don't have one like the original in the same length.
