VERY NICE!
I owned one a little larger than that for about 6 hours. Long story short a collector down in Georgia was selling a bunch of 1 1/2 hp Deeres at the Denton, NC show. We were talking and he told me he collected rarer engines, the Deeres were just trading stock. I told him I knew where one was, in rough shape. He told me if I would take him to it and he bought it, that he'd give me a Deere for a finders fee. Long story short I picked it up, he came through town that evening and we made the switch. Best I can remember it was 12 or 15p, model A I think, fully enclosed crankcase, headless, with heavier flywheels--think it was for generator service. Anyway, wish I had it now but that was 30 years ago and I had no means of finding/affording the missing parts--he wound up with a carb for it out of Canada. Anyway, got a little long winded, just triggered a story I hadn't thought about for a long time.
