Got the suspension changed out on the Road King from the crappy stock 1940's technology to something much much better. Went with Ohlin emulsion shocks in the rear and Ohlin dual cartridge in the front forks, one rebound, one compression.
Rear was a 20 minute job, Front fork removal, demo and re-install was a bit of a beyotch, but had it done in 2 days. So far so good, shocks are working their way in a bit, but one hell of an improvement over bumpy roads and curves....my butt stays in the seat which is novel!!
Installed chrome lowers at same time, costing an extra $900 for full kit parts. Total cost for suspension was around $2800, to make a Harley bagger ride like a Yamaha...

But I still cover it with a Honda bike cover when out so it wont get stolen, like who would steal a Honda?
