Default Bucking, Surging, Jerking problem with my GT3200 Solved

One of the problems with forums is knowing what to search for. In describing my problem I used the word bucking, others used surging, and still another used jerking.

I found a post where it sounded like the member had exactly the same problem that I had. He even made a video of himself driving the bucking tractor. After trying the many suggestions offered he gave up and took it to his local CC dealer. They found two loose bolts and when they were tightened the problem went away.

I decided to look at my GT3200 to see if this was my problem too. The aforementioned bolts were tight on my tractor but I did notice some other bolts that were loose and one was completely missing. I guess I missed tightening them when I did my recent differential repair. The bolts in question are the four Hex 3/8-16 x 1.0 GR5 Bolts, Part number 710-0514.

After making this repair my tractor no longer has the bucking (surging) (jerking) problem when starting out in the forward direction.

I hope this post will help someone else who is having this same problem and will be able to find it by searching for one of the descriptive words used in this post.

My thanks go out to all of you who responded to my original post
