First off I'll admit that I still have most of my toys, 40 years later. I had 2 sets--indoor and outdoor. The indoor was primarily everything except earthmoving equipment--I did have a functioning Tonka water tanker and a crane with a clam shell bucket that lived inside. The outside stuff was all earthmoving and road building. I couldn't help it, they were building a 4 lane highway in front of the house--if the construction crew had it and Tonka or Ertl built it, then I had it. I had a massive pile of dirt that I use to build highways in. Lets just say I REALLY needed a bath when I came inside! I think the patches on my jeans had patches.
