Got the homemade hitch removed. It is not quite the same mount as Merks, but I am pretty sure it would mount to a Brinly adaptor. It is 3.5" from the top to bottom of the bracket, which is the same as a Brinly.
Merk, can you confirm that this is how your bracket for yours looks?
