Under carriage= subframe. Connects both at the QA attach at the front AND to the rockshaft under your feet. Not entirely necessary to push snow/dirt, but a good idea especially when you are pushing a whole lotta snow and don't know what's under the snow then BLAAAMMM it shudders the whole tractor. PS when pushing snow remove the trip lock out so the blade can trip.
