I think your 1.0 tip is a little small, I was thinking my gun is a 1.4 or maybe bigger. My gun is a gravity feed Devilbliss from the 90's, so its not an hvlp. Acrylic Enamels like to be a little thicker and they flow with the right reducer and hardner. Don't get it too thin or you will lose some durability.
