CUB 1211 Hydro NO SPARK!
Hi all.. searched the threads and did not see much on this topic.
I went out to do my weekly mowing last night and to my surprise the 1211 would not start. I could smell plenty of fuel and she was cranking strong. I checked to make sure all the safety switches "most are bypassed already" were not effecting the condition. Finally took out my spark checker and had no spark. I checked for power all the way up the harness as close to the engine as possible and had 12+ volts.
So my question is. Is there a coil under the flywheel cover? I looked online and only saw the large cylindrical type offered but I dont think I have this on my tractor. If there is a coil reading off the flywheel under the cover, Does the engine need to come out of unit to replace? Or is there some trick to this that I am missing?
Thanks for any input.
