What type of soil are you plowing?
How many rounds have you made. First round should go around 2-4 inches deep.
Second round should be better
Third round should be the money maker round.
Is it sod?

I'll have to take some more pics. There is 18" between the rear tires so I have it in Hole 2-R per the chart I found on-line. I'll have to try it in 1-R as the Brinly manual states though. I raised the left side onto 3 2x6's to simulate the proper angle. Set the plow so the landside is aprox. 1/2" off of the ground when the point is touching. These three pics are all I have right now. When fully raised the point is about 3-3/4" off the ground. You can see the plow appears to be too far left in the last pic and the landside is setting too high IE the plow is not deep enough, but setting it to run deeper makes it worse. BTW the right wheel is in the furrow from the first pass. I know it looks like I am trying to cut sod there, but it was a tilled garden last year and the soil is very soft and sandy so that should not be an issue. Is the furrow wheel weight going to cause me an issue? being so large?
