Ok.... *yes* you can attach a QA36A to a 982. But it will be too narrow. AND the taller front tires will add more issues. I have seen people use a QA42A on a SGT, but the angle is all wrong. It just wasn't really meant for a SGT. MY POINT was the tractor is way wider than 36" so it wouldn't work very well. Plus.... $300 for QA36A is way too much. Hence the reason for my reply as; Simple answer: NO.

Daniel: I've wanted so bad to try pushing a snowblower into a pile of grass or leaves. I'm just too lazy to dig it out and mount is just so I could laugh while it obliterated the pile and I had to pick it all back up again.
