Nothing like that here. I'd say 30 min is about all I've had to wait. The local elevator doesn't have a really large pit, but they do have a fairly large grain leg, so it empty's fast. The issues come in that the side rail for train cars is so close to the pit, that a semi can't drive through and around the bins when they are loading cars so it has to back out. So.... we have to keep the line off to the side so as not to block access to the pit so that the trucks can back out and turn around. The build spot was a great spot 40 years ago.... but it has just grown so big with no room for expansion that is getting tight. Then of coarse you have those guys who can't back a semi or truck for sh!* and takes forever. Sometimes to the point they will actually move a row of train cars just so the jack-wad can drive through..... If you can't back it, you shouldn't be allowed to drive it.
