Tim - if you decide on a format for your project, I have a 24V wheelchair motor that I would be willing to donate to your project, if it would work for you. It is in an old "Rascal" style three wheeled scooter that was my father's during the last part of his life here on earth. Given his love for his grandchildren (my daughters, now grown women) it would be a fitting use for the scooter parts. The scooter is still complete less batteries.
