Then it will work fine, until it creates enough suction and has to catch up. I forgot I had the same issue with a snowblower before. Drove me crazy. That's a good idea. Maybe I will try that the next time it acts up. I just installed brand new spark plugs a few minutes ago. Just wanted to eliminate a possible spark plug issue since I just cleaned and regapped the old plugs during my last tune-up. Starts up and runs smoothe but haven't had a chance to test it under load yet. I will try the gas cap idea tomorrow if it acts up. But hopefully it doesn't!
