Thanks fellow cubaholics.

Well the last two days has seen some progress.
Gave it a bath,very dirty,outside of the gas tank and such.
Cleaned the carb,new gasket and such.
Pulled the engine off the 2042 and pulled all the tins off and I see Mickey was chewing on a few things.
Pulled off the flywheel and such to see the damage,stator wires were not damaged.
Chewed a mag spark plug wire,and some of the mag,and oil sensor wire though.
Spare parts from the other motor took care of that.All back together,so I put it in the 1863 after the steering was attended to and such.
Drained the tank,cleaned the shutoff valves out as they were rusty as usual,new hoses and such.

Fluid was changed at one time as there is RTV on the cover,still have to change the filter and such.
