I noticed the problem when I was still mowing grass, but thought maybe because the oil and filter needed changed, now after new oil and filter it still does it. When I start it after sitting for several days, the oil pressure will come right up to about 20 psig at about 1500 rpm then drop to almost 0, the sensor light will come on and after about 20 sec. or so the pressure will come up to about 35 psig and hold there. I also noticed when mowing sometimes the pressure would change from 35 to 30 psig at about a 2 sec. rate. Other than this problem, the engine runs great. Oil was still on the full mark when I changed at 50 hrs. Has anyone else had this problem or has any ideas?
